Tree Lighting at 6:30 pm
The City of Fairfield is pleased to announce our annual holiday tree lighting event on Friday, December 6, in downtown Fairfield. The tree lighting will take place at the corner of Texas and Jefferson Streets at 6:30 pm.
Fun for the whole family!
Festivities following the tree lighting will include musical performances, a trackless train, hot cocoa, photos with Santa, the Grinch who DJ'd Christmas, and more! They will be located along Texas Street, between Union Avenue and Madison Street. Confirmed performers include:
- Poet Laureate Suzanne Bruce
- Fairfield HS Cheer squat, coached by Alta Featherstone
- Missouri Street Youth Choir
- Ballet Folklorico Netzahualcoyotl - a Mexican Folklorico dance group from the Bay Area that has been in existence since 1996 under the Direction of founder and director, Netza Vidal. The group consists of over 120 dancers ages 4 and up. They have groups in Santa Rosa, San Rafael, Concord, and Vacaville.

Support Downtown Merchants
Residents are welcome to stroll the downtown area while they listen to carolers, peruse downtown business window displays, and visit merchant open houses.
