The Fleet Management Division services close to 700 vehicles and more than 100 related components – everything from lawn mowers and tree chippers to dump trucks, backhoes, police vehicles and fire trucks - at two locations, staffed for up to 20 hours a day.

The Transportation Division oversees the operation of FAST in the City of Fairfield.  Services include FAST local fixed-route bus service, DART (ADA) paratransit service, and a Reduced Fare Local Taxi Program for qualified residents. Please visit the FAST website to learn more about transportation services.

The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program is provided for public review on the FAST website. Likewise, the DBE Goal Methodology for federal fiscal years 2023-2026 are included for public inspection. The 2023-2026 DBE Goal is 4.73%.
