Join us for our Bi-Annual Prescription Drug Take Back. Saturday, October 29 from 10-2pm, the Fairfield Police Department in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will collect and dispose of expired, unused, and unwanted prescription medication.
Please bring your unwanted prescriptions for disposal to the Fairfield Police Department at 1000 Webster St. This year, the DEA will collect vape pens or other e-cigarette devices from individual consumers only after the batteries are removed from the devices. It is important to stress that the DEA and or the police are not responsible for removing the batteries from the devices. (Site cannot accept needles or sharps, only pills or patches, liquids.) Liquids are accepted. Please be sure all medications are sealed tightly in a Ziploc bag. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
