In conjunction with the Solano Land Trust, Poet Laureate Suzanne Bruce is hosting her 3rd Hike and Write! This time a different location!
Location: Rush Ranch, 3521 Grizzly Island Road, Suisun City, CA
Date: Sunday, October 22, 2023 Time: 1:00 - 4:00pm
The hiking level is easy and will be about 1.2 miles. A docent will be leading us, sharing history and stories.
Bring pen and paper (notebooks, not loose leaf and Delta breezes can be windy!) We will hike a bit, stop and read poetry, have time to write and continue. This will be spontaneous and casual. There will be time to share thoughts and writings at the end.
Bring water and snacks. Wear appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Some parts of the trail may be muddy.

Some may prefer to work on final poems or stories after the hike is over. If you would like to share that final version with the Hike and Write group, you can send it to me by November 1. I will put them in a zip file and email to every attendee.
