Public Safety Dispatchers are Fairfield’s first, first responders.  Dispatchers answer calls made to 9-1-1 and the non-emergency number for community members requiring assistance.  These professional and dedicated team members dispatch Police and Fire personnel to the scenes of accidents, crimes, fires and other emergency and non-emergency situations.  Dispatchers are the hub of communication for emergency services throughout the City of Fairfield quickly assessing situations and sending appropriate help.
