Our new Strategic Plan serves as a blueprint for enhancing our department and services over the next five years and beyond, aligning our programs, projects, and activities with the City Council’s goals and priorities. Developed with significant input from our employees, this Plan reflects a bottom-up process that incorporates your ideas and contributions. The focus of this Plan is to set goals and objectives that are actionable, aspirational, and achievable by our Public Works department.

The Plan encompasses service delivery to our customers and internal factors such as training, employee development, public outreach, customer service, and communication. With your participation, we have identified our strengths and weaknesses and developed strategies to become a more effective, responsive, and transparent organization – making it a better place to work.
