Project description:
The proposed “Archway Recovery Services Facility” project includes the construction of a new two-story, 18,800 sq. ft., 62-bed, state-licensed community care facility on a portion of a 1.77-acre vacant parcel at the southeast corner of Heath Drive and Peach Tree Drive. The project site plan proposes 19 parking spaces, stormwater quality treatment areas, and landscaping along Heath Drive, Peach Tree Drive, and the southern property line. A decorative wrought iron fence is proposed to enclose the entire property, with two sliding vehicle gates at the driveway entrances on Heath Drive and Peach Tree Drive. A Mitigated Negative Declaration was prepared for the project meeting the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
The project will provide adult residential substance abuse recovery services. The facility's operations fall under the City’s “Community Care Facilities—Residential” land use designation, which is a permitted use at the subject property.
